After becoming the new owners of Oak View Holiday Park, 1 month prior peak camping season, the new owners of the park needed a quick multi teered marketing strategy and website development program to ensure they could capitalise on the impending camping season.
In an expediated amount of time we were able to develop a fully functional booking system website with full booking management system for their reception team on site.

Social Media Management

Combined with google SEO management we were able to ensure not only that the site was found but 95% booked throughout their first season as owners.
The website was developed to integrate with major third-party holiday comparison booking sites ensuring no loss of revenue.
Whilst these third-party bookings sites should not be ignored we developed a strategy to maximise the parks bookings though their own website via social media PPC adverts and postings helping reduce the amount of commission they would need to pay out to these third party retailers. This current social strategy has continued and bookings through their own website now outrank third-party websites reducing the amount of commission the park pays out.
The parks social media campaign has differed in approach to many other companies we manage due to the nature of the business. We needed to ensure this felt family orientated, not over polished and engaged with their customers. The parks social following has grown organically and to date has not lost one like or follow on the page and generated repeat business on the back of updates being show on a regular basis on their page. We have also been able to offer previous customers discount codes via social media channels and email campaigns to generate repeat business and avoid bookings made through third-party websites coming back through them again.
A popular campaign amongst visitors to the site has become the “Pitch of The Week” social media posts. We graphically designed and had professionally printed a “Pitch of The Week” sign which the park wardens would get guests to hold for photos for their social media channels. This technique was used to engage with the guests on site and to get permissions for their images to be used. Guests along with their friends and family engage with the posts online broadening their reach.
